CEFA is broadening its mandate to educate and inform advisors by including BDC’s and Interval Funds in its marketing efforts. These alternative investment structures face similar issues to closed-end funds:

- Have a limited understanding and awareness by the broad investment community
By creating a broader organization, CEFA will benefit from:
- Greater resources with increased membership and broader leadership
- More diversified content
- Firms that have sponsorship of more than one product structure
- Product structures that address similar audiences
